This is my first post for this new project StolenArt.be.

The website is dedicated to the victims of the Nazis. By victims I don’t only mean the miljons of people killed by the Nazis during the War, but also the cultural goods that were looted, stolen and burned by the Germans. 

For art WWII started back in 1933, the year that Hitler got elected and unfortunatly the war is still raging. In 1998 at the Washington convention on Stolen Art during the war it was stated that there were still more than 200.000 works were missing.Several thousands of these originated from Belgium. We would like to get them back.
